A little background on me

Natalie has spent most of her professional career as a barrister working in the criminal justice system in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.  For over 30 years Natalie has been a court advocate, with a wealth of experience at public speaking.

Natalie is a long time member of the Victims and Witness Forum, where she was praised for her kind and empathetic manner. She has the maturity and life experience to guide families during what can be a very difficult time in their lives.

In her spare time, Natalie has led Garden City Singers, a community choir in Letchworth which she and some friends started in 2014.  No longer their leader, Natalie now sings as a lady tenor, enjoying the collective singing and the challenge of learning new pieces.

Those who know her best say that her former roles seem to have been designed to ready her for her next chapter, being an Independent Celebrant.

Natalie supports families in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

I am a qualified funeral celebrant and pride myself on my bespoke, personalised ceremonies for families. Every service I undertake is a privilege, and I recognise the trust you put in me.  My role is to provide you with support when deciding how you want to remember your loved one.

We will have time together to reflect on how that person's life impacted on others, drawing together the threads of your treasured memories, in a way that you are happy with. With my previous careers including public speaking and advocating for those unable to do so themselves, I feel my life experiences have helped me become a highly sensitive and effective celebrant. I love helping families and friends articulate their memories - for a very special person - in their final act of love and respect.

"Today’s Celebrant"

Gone are the days of feeling like you need to follow strict guidelines of how a funeral should, or shouldn’t be. The ceremony lies at the core of every funeral, I want to help you to make it a fitting memory.
